After hearing the tragic news yesterday of Officer Travis Murphy being killed in the line of duty, I knew I wanted to do something to help. Being the wife of an officer myself, it really hits home, too close to home. I am putting together a BENEFIT YARD SALE for his widow and her sweet little kids and could definitely use your help! I did this same thing for a year ago for Phoenix Police Officer Shane Figueroa’s widow and it was a great success. Please let me know if you can help me out in anyway! Thank you for your time.

I have a commit for you guys, I just wanted to make a commit about Hall & Oates, first off I haven’t liked them since the 70′s so as far as I’m concerned this is one less old school group I can live without. Secondly, Isn’t this law already a federal law? Why is everyone wanting to bocott Az when they should be bocotting the whole country?

I just started to listen to you guys about 4 months ago when I boycotted a station for playing too much music and having way too many commercials in the morning, and now I’m addicted! I am not your typical country music lover, but I have sure grown into a huge fan. When I was young my grandfather used to listen to country 24-7. I had a love for it then, but now its all I can listen to. I love singing and while listening to you guys on my way to work one day it clicked. I made for country music! Thanks for opening my mind and my heart to music that is just wonderful! I love everything about it. It is simple, gets straight to the point, heartfelt, emotional, and is so me!

A little footnote on Tim and Willie’s take on the Lost Dutchman mine. The mine was originally named Deutschman which is German for Germanman.
Over the years it became Dutchman of course and it’s been that way for a long time.
Maybe they didn’t take cell phones for fear that their position and the position of the mine when they found it would be compromised?
It is a shame that they had to perish up there under those horrible conditions.

Someone close to me was a victim of a western union money gram.
Please let all Kmle Nation know that if someone calls you to wire cash somewhere because a relative is in jail or some other lame excuse, it is a scam and it cost this person $3000.00!!! Please play the song “i’ll pray for you” to a so called Ursela Jones who scammed this
money, and when the shoe is on the other foot, which it will someday, I will not have to pray for you anymore

You need to bring new country to the valley. I have been following Christian Kane from Leverage and he is a great singer and well as actor. If you haven’t heard “American Made” you should. He has played at Toby’s Bar in Oregon and I wish he would play here. You should play his song everyone would love it.

So glad to hear stu evans back on the radio. It will always be a comfort when I hear him say “this is big shoe stu evans on the KMLE”. I have been listening to KMLE country since I was a little girl and stopped listening to it when I found the took stu off the air. I hope that who ever was the one who decided to fire him in the first place has learned his lesson. Big Shoe Syu is part of KMLE country and when he was taken away KMLE lost something that only he has. I hope I will always hear him whenever I turn on KMLE country 108.

The Arizona Department of Veterans Services is planning the 3rd Annual Military Women’s Conference Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2011. This conference is for women who have served in all branches of services and is to provide them information which is pertintent to their lives – education, jobs, health, etc. We would like to have an entertainer at this conference who has traveled to the conflict zones to entertain the troops. Hopefully they would be willing to share their insight on what they see regarding women, but also the troops as a whole. If you could help us contact someone who might be able to give us some leads or help in obtaining someone who would be willing to do this would be appreciated.
